A short clip from the Business Awards>>
We nurture children between birth and 8 years of age in our cosy converted old school building on the Dorset/Hampshire boarder in the rural village of Alderholt, Nr Fordingbridge.
You can not miss us with our Mongolian yurt on our field and our woodland classroom with no windows or doors.
Camp fires, mud kitchens and rope swings. KingsWood Day Nursery comes alive, creating memories children will treasure for a lifetime. From finding and hatching dragon eggs, building fairy houses and digging war trenches, children learn valuable life skills, tool use and experience the magical childhood which every child deserves.
KingsWood boasts an inspirational woodland site and outdoor facilities alongside its idyllic building. We have 3 school sites located in our Woodland which offer enriching experiences to all ages of children where their learning can be nurtured in the natural surroundings.
Our opening times are Monday-Friday, 7.45am-6pm, 50 weeks of the year (closing a week in August and over the Christmas period.) We offer a variety of sessions including mornings, afternoons and full day care. Book your child/babies space now for 2017 as we are filling up fast! Please give us a call for more information on available sessions.

In our recent Ofsted report the inspector commented that, "Staff have an excellent understanding of how children learn through exploration and play. Children are active, keen learners displaying great levels of imagination in a stimulating environment both indoors and out. Children are cared for and motivated to be active learners in an environment where their safety and well-being is of highest priority."
